As a passionate fan of Yushiroh Hirano, the first Japanese-born player to score a goal in AHL history, I had the opportunity to collaborate with him on a special project. I was commissioned to create an intro animation for his personal YouTube channel, “Y’s Channel,” where he shares his experiences as a Japanese player in the AHL.
This project allowed me to utilize my skills in video editing and visual effects while showcasing my admiration for Yushiroh’s achievements and dedication to hockey. I worked on the animation during my free time, employing various techniques such as rotoscoping and masking, along with other After Effects tools, to craft a dynamic and visually engaging intro video that would captivate his audience.
