During my internship at Canucks Sports & Entertainment from September 2022 to May 2023, I had the opportunity to create a variety of engaging motion graphic pieces for the Vancouver Canucks hockey club. These pieces were designed to be used on the team's social media platforms and YouTube content, helping to engage fans and promote the team's brand.
In addition to creating graphics for the team's social media channels, I also worked on motion graphic pieces to be used in conjunction with corporate partnership and sponsors.
Working at Canucks Sports & Entertainment was an intense experience that required quick thinking and problem-solving skills. I was fortunate to have Andre Finhana as my leader, mentor, and senior motion designer. Working under his guidance, I learned how to create visually appealing and effective motion graphics while also honing my skills in the Adobe suite, including Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
Overall, my time at Canucks Sports & Entertainment was a valuable learning experience that allowed me to create high-quality motion graphic pieces for a professional sports team. I am proud of the work I accomplished during my internship and grateful for the opportunity to work alongside talented professionals in the sports entertainment industry.
