As a passionate fan of Yushiroh Hirano, the first Japanese-born player to score a goal in AHL history, I wanted to create something special for him. Utilizing my skills in video editing and visual effects, I embarked on a passion project to create an intro animation for Yushiroh’s personal youtube channel, “Y’s Channel” where he documents his experiences as a Japanese player in the AHL.
The entire project was completed during my free time, driven by my admiration for Yushiroh’s achievements and dedication to the sport of hockey. I used various techniques, including rotoscoping and masking, along with other After Effects tools, to create a dynamic and visually appealing intro video that would captivate Yushiroh’s audience.
